I was wondering what to write about today when I saw that I had been tagged by kmjewelrystudio (Etsy shop link). The rules for this tag are a little different than other tag games; you must go to your 4th picture file on your computer and blog about it, then tag 4 other bloggers to do the same. It just so happens my 4th picture file is very, very special to me. My father, who will be 87 in October, is a wonderful woodworker and he had built me a beautiful cedar chest about 20 years ago for my birthday but my ex refused to give it to me when we divorced. Last summer while Daddy was visiting us, he decided to build me a new cedar chest – he did every bit of the work himself using wood that came off our land – it means so much more to me than the 1st one ever did. I believe it is one of the prettiest things he has built and I will treasure it forever…I love you Daddy!
Thank you kmjewelrystudio (blog link) for giving me the opportunity to show of my beautiful cedar chest.
Now, I am tagging the following:
Don’t forget to tag 4 others and post the rules…can’t wait to see your photos.
