A Camping We Did Go

The weather here in NW Arkansas was beautiful this week so Jim and I packed up our camper and took off. 

We had a wonderful campfire on the first night…it was the perfect weather for it.  In the campsite across from us there was a group of other campers that sat outside all evening playing guitars and fiddles and singing…it was a perfect evening.  I also learned something new about my camera – I love how this picture came out.

Jim did some fishing…he didn’t catch anything but he enjoyed it.  I took some pictures of the river and Sammy playing in the water but they are on my phone and I haven’t downloaded them yet.

Speaking of Sammy, this was his first camping trip and I think he really enjoyed it.  He got to stay outside most of the day watching the squirrels and birds and all the other campers.  He got a new haircut right before we left and they cut him a little too short…he’s going to freeze this winter.  For some reason, I think of “Mighty Mouse” when I see this picture.

I love this picture….Jim was taking a nap and Sammy was sitting on his knees looking out the window…he was watching some other dogs taking their humans for a walk.
