I love the look of etched metal and envy those artists who can do it but it’s not a process I have had any desire to learn. Recently I found a place that sells the most amazing etchings and I am having so much fun playing with with all the different metals.
I recently purchased this beautiful piece of Indian Paint stone and when it arrived, I just knew I had to set it with some of the etched metal. In fact, I actually made the ring the same day I received the stone…I was that excited about it. I layered the brass on sterling and made a ring band in the same brass…this ring is available with custom-sizing.
The brass looks more coppery in the pictures but in hand, it really pulls together the colors in the stone…perfect color pallet for the upcoming fall season.
Oh yes! That stone almost looks like a print instead of a stone and the brass really accents it well. Love it :: lynn
