New Work: I haven’t had much time at my bench for the last week or so but I did manage to finish these two items.

Etsy Ads: Not impressed! Has anyone else tried them? I decided to try it for the minimum of $5.00 and it garnered me all of 19 views. First, I don’t like the choice of key words they offer you; for instance, if I use the keyword “bumblebee jasper”, they offered me “bumblebee” or “jasper” but not the 2 words together. If I understand the premise correctly, when someone types in the word “bumblebee” as their search term, my item will eventually show up but how many bumblebee items do they have to filter through to find my item. Maybe I just don’t understand it but for now, I feel like I get more views from my .20 renewal fee. I would love to hear what others think.
The earrings are amazing! I love the leaves and mismatched earrings you've been making :). I haven't tried Etsy Ads, I'd love to know if they're working for anyone too.

ReplyDeleteI haven't tried the Etsy ads, but it seems like I've heard more complaints about them than anything good. I was thinking of trying them towards the end of November, but everyone seems to have a problem with the keywords they offer. So until I hear more good than bad, I probably won't try them.

ReplyDeleteI also tried the etsy ads for $5.00and had far, far fewer views everyday the ads ran than I do on any given normal day. It did more harm than good for my etsy site.

I tried Etsy ads for a week also, with very poor results, won't be doing it again.
Ohhh I am loving your earrings!! Etsy Ads sucked for me too ~ I stopped it early as spending money on basically nothing was a waste of time and well, lol money!!

ReplyDeleteI also think that Etsy Ads are a waste of time. I tried them twice but got hardly any hits. I think renewing still works better for me.
